Development of a flexible and mobile cleanroom in modular design with adaptable ventilation concept optimized for plastics processing under cleanroom conditions
In plastics processing, quality-assuring production with a simultaneous reduction in rejects is gaining priority. In injection molding in particular, the requirements for controlled environmental conditions during the process are constantly increasing. A flexible design should make it possible to create a clean and particle-free environment that can be changed at any time and whose size and geometry can be adapted as required without much additional effort.
The project aims to create a product with which flexible cleanroom production cells can be realized as simply as possible and with little effort. The aim is to design and manufacture modules with integrated functions that can be easily assembled and disassembled to form a cleanroom. The simple design and high flexibility of the system make it possible for the first time to produce independently of time and space under cleanroom conditions.
For an intact overall concept of the modular cleanroom system, the surface quality requirements for cleanroom suitability must be taken into account by selecting the appropriate materials for the modules. A variable ventilation system with air conditioning is provided to adapt the cleanroom not only spatially but also technically to requirements. This allows the targeted introduction of clean air in critical areas, whereby the volume flow of clean air can also be adapted to requirements. To optimally design the ventilation and air conditioning system for injection moulding production, the waste heat from an injection moulding machine is analyzed as an example.
