Project background

The GHOBB has developed the MMM, an innovative supplementary study program that prepares outstanding students from six consortium universities for leadership and expert roles at the interface of sustainability, Innovation and society. Based on the four core competencies of interdisciplinarity, future skills, innovation and entrepreneurship, the program teaches practical methods in trend research, product development and strategy development - with the aim of jointly overcoming complex social challenges and shaping sustainable transformation processes.

The MMM is a cross-university certificate program within the meaning of Art. 77 para. 5 sentence 1 no. 2 BayHIG and brings together students from the disciplines of engineering, natural sciences, medicine, humanities, social sciences and art. Over two semesters, participants complete three modules at Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences, Ingolstadt Technical University of Applied Sciences and Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences - in face-to-face and online formats - and conclude with the presentation of a prototype to an interdisciplinary jury consisting of experts from business and the ecosystem. Admission requires enrolment at a consortium university and a successful, selective application process.

As part of the pre-qualification for the MMM, the Mind Makers Weekend (MMW) (offered annually) offers the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills through a central design sprint for idea development as well as workshops, mentoring and input from experts.
