The aim of this research project was to investigate how planar, furniture-based lighting can be used in shopfitting and store design and what advantages such lighting has over conventional architectural lighting.

The aim of the project is a planning process that closely links the numerical simulation and verification of vibroacoustic building properties to a comprehensive building information model (BIM).
